MEET KENT
New Leadership Delivering Results for Our Community
Greetings! Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.
I am humbled by the opportunity to run for Dublin City Council. I grew up on Hyland-Croy Road. I am proud to say Dublin has been home to me for most of my life and I care deeply about our community.
Currently our family is a proud resident of Ward 4 in Dublin. You may see us at the Dublin Rec Center, Karrer Middle School concerts and our favorite community events - Independence Day Parade and the Dublin Irish Festival (the picture above is me at the St. Patrick's Day parade in the 1980s).
I have decided to run for Dublin City Council because I am excited about the City's future and feel I can make a positive impact on the planning and execution of the goals outlined in the Envision Dublin plan. I feel I am qualified because of my business leadership experience, local civic involvement, passion to do what is right for Dublin families.
I am proud to say I have worked at Nationwide Children's Hospital for 17 years. For the past 10 years, I have been a corporate leader in my ward at Nationwide Children's - Dublin. It is important for Dublin to maintain balance of business growth and the voice of our residents.
I would be honored to have your vote on November 4th.
Kent A. Weakley
